1,500-Mile 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 Hennessey HPE700 7-Speed

This 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 is one of 500 Premiere Editions produced for the model year, and it was modified when new by Hennessey Performance with the HPE700 performance package. Power comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed manual transaxle, and Hennessey modifications include a supercharger and intercooler, CNC ported cylinder heads, an aftermarket camshaft, long-tube headers, revised engine management software, a double-helix exhaust center section, and a carbon-fiber front splitter and side skirts. The car is finished in Laguna Blue over Brownstone leather and suede upholstery, and additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, the Z51 Performance package, the 3LT Preferred Equipment group, and a transparent removable roof panel. The car was first registered in Texas and later spent time in Nevada and California before its recent acquisition by the selling dealer. This C7 has 1,500 miles and is now offered in California with an invoice describing the Hennessey modifications, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title.

The Premiere Edition was only offered in Laguna Blue Tintcoat with a Carbon Flash hood stripe. Additional details include a carbon-fiber front splitter and side skirts from C7 Carbon, Hennessey and HPE700 badging, a transparent removable roof panel, brake-cooling ducts, tinted side and rear reflector lenses, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets.

Chrome 19″ and 20″ five twin-spoke wheels with Stingray center caps wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires showing 2014 date codes. The car was equipped from the factory with Magnetic Selective Ride Control. Braking is handled by ventilated and slotted discs with black-finished Corvette-script calipers at each corner.

The cabin features power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated seats trimmed in Brownstone leather with contrast stitching and sueded microfiber inserts. Matching upholstery extends to the dashboard and doors, while carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center stack. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a head-up display, navigation, Stingray-branded door sill plates, and Bose surround sound audio.

A plaque inside the cabin identifies this car as number 18 out of 100 examples modified with the HPE700 package.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature and pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 1,500 miles, approximately 30 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 6.2-liter all-aluminum LT1 V8 was modified by Hennessey Performance with the following:

The sale includes an original invoice from HPE Design LLC of Sealy, Texas, listing the modifications performed on the car.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Texas, California, and Nevada. The selling dealer states that the car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
