SEMA-Exhibited 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 6-Speed

This 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road was purchased new by the seller and subsequently modified and exhibited by Bestop at the 2019 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The truck is finished in Quicksand over black and is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Modifications include 17″ Fifteen52 wheels, a steel front bumper, an aftermarket roof rack, a Bestop Supertop, a Warn winch, PRP seat covers, and Baja Designs aftermarket off-road lighting. This Tacoma has 50k miles and is now offered with off-road accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name

The Double Cab short-bed body is finished in Quicksand (4V6) and features ceramic tinted windows and custom retro-style vinyl decals. A host of aftermarket off-road lighting has been installed on the front bumper, cab, and roof, and additional features include a rear-mounted tire carrier, a Bestop Supertop, a Relentless Fabrication front bumper, an upTOP Overland roof rack, bolt-on rock sliders, a TRD Sport hood, and a TRD Pro grille and skidplate. Lexus RX HID projector headlights have been retrofitted, and the seller notes that a hi-lift jack and a set of MAXTRAX recovery boards are included with the sale. A modification list has been provided by the seller and can be viewed in the gallery below.

17″ Fifteen52 Analog HD wheels wear 305/70 Toyo Open Country R/T tires. The brakes have been modified with Remmen slotted and cross-drilled rotors, Remmen ceramic pads, and extended stainless steel braided hoses. The suspension has been fitted with Bilstein shocks, King front coil springs, Deavers rear leaf springs, and JBA Offroad heavy-duty upper control arms.

The cab is upholstered in black and features brown and tan vinyl PRP seat covers front and rear. Amenities include a navigation system, console-mounted MOLLE panels, a wood shift knob, and a custom switch panel for the auxiliary lighting and accessories. A CargoGlide CG1000XL cargo slider is mounted in the bed.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer has 50k miles.

The 3.5-liter V6 was factory rated at 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the oil was last changed at 45k miles.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. Additional images of the underside can be viewed in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California through the most recent entry in July 2020.
