2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Premium

This 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Premium coupe is finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic over black leather and microsuede upholstery, and power is supplied by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 linked with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Optioned with Recaro front seats and Grabber Blue-painted Brembo brake calipers, the car is also equipped with model-specific fascias, LED headlights, a rear spoiler, and Dark Tarnish-painted 19″ wheels in addition to a MagneRide damping system, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and SYNC 4 touchscreen infotainment with navigation. Acquired by the selling dealer in October 2023, this Mustang Dark Horse has 110 miles and is now offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title.

The Dark Horse is the first new Mustang nameplate introduced since the Mustang Bullitt was released in 2001, and it serves as a successor to the Mustang Mach 1. It specifies a gray graphic that surrounds the LED headlamps and trapezoidal air intakes along with a unique front bumper cover, a front splitter, lower side skirts, forward-facing horse badges, and darkened quad-exhaust outlets that exit below the revised rear fascia. This example is finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic with a gloss black and Dark Tarnished-finished vinyl hood stripe. Additional exterior details include rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated side mirrors, Dark Horse puddle lamps, a rear spoiler, and LED taillights with sequential turn signals.

Dark Tarnished-painted 19″ 10-spoke wheels are wrapped in 255/40 front and 275/40 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. The car is equipped with a MagneRide damping system, and stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers optioned in Grabber Blue. Brake-cooling NACA ducts and an electronic “drift brake” are standard on all Dark Horse models, and the latter locks the rear brakes with hydraulic line pressure.

The Recaro front seats are upholstered in black leather with microsuede inserts and blue accent stitching that extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless charging pad, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a universal garage door opener along with Ford Track Apps, carbon-look interior trim, Remove Rev, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and SYNC 4 infotainment with navigation and a 13.2″ touchscreen angled towards the driver.

A heated flat-bottomed steering wheel trimmed in leather and microsuede features blue accent stitching, carbon-look trim, anodized silver paddle shifters, and a dedicated drive mode button. It fronts a configurable 12.4″ digital instrument cluster that includes readouts for speed, engine RPM, and other ancillary data. The odometer indicates 110 miles, approximately 75 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The passenger-side dashboard plaque identifies this Mustang Dark Horse as chassis #R2082.

The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is equipped with a carbon-look engine cover in addition to a forged crankshaft and connecting rods, a dual throttle-body intake design, an auxiliary engine oil cooler, a lightweight radiator with improved cooling fans, and increased spark timing for a factory-rated output of 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. A Mustang Dark Horse-branded strut tower brace spans the engine bay.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gearing. The car is factory-equipped with a rear axle cooler and an active valve performance exhaust system.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Parks Ford of Kernersville, North Carolina, along with factory colors, standard equipment, selected options, and a total MSRP of $68,300. Manufacturer’s literature and various accessories are included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in the Carolinas.
