This 1972 Triumph TR6 was purchased by the current owner in 2019 from a person who had acquired the car in 1986 and used it in Washington, D.C. and Tennessee. Finished in green over black leather upholstery and powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, the car is said to have undergone an engine rebuild and a repaint under prior ownership. Equipment includes a black soft top, a black leather top boot, 15″ steel wheels, redline tires, front disc brakes, a burl-wood dashboard panel, and a Custom Autosound stereo. Work performed under current ownership involved refreshing the interior, installing a stainless-steel exhaust system, and rebuilding the transmission, rear differential, and rear axle as well as replacing the clutch, brakes, shocks, springs, and suspension bushings. This TR6 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, a TR6 owner’s manual, a TR6 shop manual, correspondence from the previous owner, service records from current ownership, and a clean North Carolina title in the owner’s name.
