1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator 4-Speed
This 1970 Mercury Cougar is one of 2,268 Eliminator models produced for the model year and was completed on June 12, 1970, for delivery to Borough Motors in Charlotte, North Carolina. 1972 Datsun 510 Race Car
This 1972 Datsun 510 was modified for track use after being sold new Canada, where it was registered with the Canadian Sports Car Club (CASC) and used for road and ice racing events in the Winnipeg area from 1973 through 2005. The car was acquired by the seller out of longterm storage in 2013 and imported to the US where recommissioning work included the installation of a 1.8-liter L18 inline-four and a Datsun roadster five-speed manual transmission. Additional modifications include Toyota four-piston front brake calipers, finned aluminum rear brake drums, and adjustable front coilovers, camber plates, and lower control arms as well as VTO 13″ alloy wheels, dual Weber carburetors, an A87 cylinder head, an MSD electronic ignition, an exhaust header, a roll cage, a Kirkey racing seat, and a RaceQuip cam-lock harness.
