Vintage A/C System In a world of mass-produced hot rods, it's
becoming seemingly harder and harder to find these good, solid,
old-school street rods. Most people are either hanging onto them or
taking them and investing six figures back into them. Which
although may be good for investors, it tends to make things a
little harder for hobbyists to find something dependable and
affordable to take for a drive without feeling nervous about every
single ripple and crack in the road. Well, look no further, this
classic street rod is a perfect blend of affordability,
dependability, and all around fun for any hobbyist. This 1939 Ford
Tudor sedan has a unique take on a decades-old design that we
almost guarantee will be the hit of any car show. Fully functional,
with a reliable and 350 V/8 powertrain and some basic creature
comforts, it's a car you can drive or show with confidence, and
you'll never have to worry about parking next to another one like
it at a show. After all, isn't hot rodding all about being unique?
You're certainly not going to miss this beautiful metallic green
Ford cruising down the street. The body appears to be very solid,
and remains mostly original to date, perhaps the only one of its
kind in your town. The iconic front nose of a 39 always grabs the
attention of other street rodders. The body is pretty much
completely stock to its original style. This well-finished Hot Rod
is a Rod you'll be proud to show off without having to get yourself
if any trouble with large debts. Powering this brilliant green
sedan is a reliable Chevy 350 V8. One of the most well-respected
small blocks ever built, it is compact, reliable, powerful and just
plain looks good sitting under any hood. With an aluminum intake,
4-barrel carb, power steering, power brakes, and Vintage Air A/C,
it has all the modern day amenities you're used to. All you have to
do is get in and turn the key and the potent small block rumbles to
life instantly and idles beautifully thanks to years of development
from General Motors. If ever there was a rod you could drive every
day, this is it. A smart turbo 350 3-speed automatic backs the
engine, with standard gearing for potent acceleration, Out back,
there's a Ford 9-inch with 3.55 gears, which is always street
friendly. The exhaust was fabricated front to back using
traditional mufflers for a mellow sound. The Wheels are billet
pieces wearing 195/60R15 up front and P245/60R15 in the rear BF
Goodrich radials. Like the design of the body, the interior is
simple and nothing too dramatic. With bucket seats wrapped in cloth
interior, it's an inviting place to spend some time. The dash is
artistically designed with some nice functional gauges. A simple
steering-wheel sets off the interior and hangs on a standard black
column. Carpets are in good shape and show very little wear. The
sculpted headliner matches the door panels, which feature simple
controls for the door latch and window cranks. If you've been
looking for a well-built, versatile, unique rod that can also carry
friends and family, you've just found it. Quick, comfortable,
well-engineered, and just beautiful to look at, this 1939 Ford
Tudor has rightfully earned the respect of other Rodders. We get a
lot of cars coming through our doors here Custom Classics, but this
one caught our attention when it arrived for its dedication to the
simplicity of old-school street rodding that we all grew up loving
and appreciating. It is a well done older build at a great price
and obviously fully sorted, there's still a lot of time to get it
to shows and blow people away with this rad rod. If this all
appeals to you, give us a call today! It may not last long at this
price!
