Vehicle Description
This is a real S code 390 big block GT car! Ground up restored less
then 4,500 miles ago. Have specs on the mechanics, many
upgrades.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: The 390 motor is completely rebuilt and we do
have the specs. It has upgrades including Lunati performance cam,
Scat rods, Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, MSD ignition
system, chrome plated Holley carb and a set of headers. It is kept
cool with an aluminum Griffin radiator, dual electric fans and a
polished Edelbrock aluminum water pump. Everything under the hood
looks new- the power steering pump, hoses, belts, Optima battery,
fuel pump etc. The motor compartment is detailed. Bottom side of
the hood is gloss red with the insulation. The engine bay is
semi-gloss black. The engine itself still has fresh coat of bright
blue paint.
UNDERSIDE: Appears to have solid floors. Front end is completely
rebuilt and detailed. Upgraded tubular control arms, sway bar and
disc brakes in front. Power steering components look new. Trans is
completely rebuilt, linkage and clutch are new. Freshly rebuilt
3.73 posi rear. You can still eat off the bottom of the motor, it's
not even oily. Many new parts- high torque starter, dual exhaust,
parking brake cables, air shocks, u-joints etc.
INTERIOR: Very nice upholstery, headliner, visors, carpet. New door
panels. It does have a really cool set of upgraded Dakota digital
gauges. Has full set of instruments including tachometer along with
a digital readout in the center. The 4-speed on the floor has the
original style shifter.
EXTERIOR: Body looks great and the gaps are really nice. I just
shut the door and it shut like brand new. Has a very polished,
professional quality candy apple red paint job. Up front the
bumper, grill, headlight bezels emblems look nearly new. Grills on
the hood are very nice originals. The moldings around the
windshield have been polished, new mirrors and door handles. The
windshield, window aeals and weatherstrips were replaced. In back
the bumper and taillights look new. It is a real GT and has emblems
and stripes. It's a great looking body style. One of the few where
the hardtop looks better then a convertible. Upgraded to 15 inch
Magnum 500 wheels with spinners.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean. It has been spatter painted. Has plaid
mat, jack and spare.
This is a nice car throughout, mechanically and cosmetically. Very
desirable colors and features!
