For Sale: 1959 Studebaker Lark in Fayetteville, Georgia

Vehicle Description

ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION, LOW MILES, ONE FAMILY, UNMOLESTED, RUST FREE, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT! This is a rare find for us, a truly all original car that has been in the family since new. Watch the video inspection, take a look at the pictures and details below, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.

Cosmetic

  • Paint/Body: Original paint is in good shape overall with a few typical blemishes. There is a small dent on the front of the hood. Lower rockers have paint missing from the years its been driven. It would be easy to have some touch up paint mixed up and touch all of the spots leaving the car overall originally preserved. A good buff and wax will make the car shine like new again! Drivers door hinge is popping a little.
  • Interior: Original uncut dash with all working gauges! The seats were covered from the dealership in 1959 and covers only taken off this year to reveal a perfectly preserved upholstery. Floor mat on the drivers side is worn from the years.
  • Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good shape and windows roll up and down with ease.
  • Trunk: Super clean trunk space and totally rust free.
  • Undercarriage: Unbelievable condition this undercarriage is completely rust free that we can see, solid floor and and original frame.
  • Wheels/Tires: Original wheels and hubcaps with older tires, good tread.

Mechanical

  • Drivetrain: The 170 inline 6cyl starts at the touch of the key, and runs strong and smooth. The transmission is original 3 speed on the column and shifts smoothly through all of the gears. Clutch feels good. My 23 year old daughter has driven this car around town and she thinks it is a blast!
  • Lights/Electrical: All of the lights function as they should, along with all original gauges functioning properly.
  • Brakes: Brakes are pulling a little to the right and could use an adjustment.

You would be hard pressed to find a classic Lark in this kind of original condition. She needs absolutely nothing to be driven and enjoyed now, and would make an easy restoration project for the future. Please watch the video inspection, then call Erick at 678-908-6006.
