1962 Chevy Impala
We have what we believe to be a very original beautiful Ermine White 1962 Chevrolet Impala that still retains its original drivetrain as well as most other parts and interior too , is here for sale at Classic Vintage Exchange.
It was ordered with the 327 cubic inch engine an a Powerglide transmission and looks great inside and out in White with the Red interior.
Our Impala has the 327 cubic inch engine and still retains the original Chevy orange painted engine block, correct intake for a 327 4-barrel carb, stock painted valve covers, chrome dual-scoop air cleaner, “Rams Horn” factory exhaust manifolds, power steering, drum brakes, and all sitting in what looks to be the original as came from the factory engine compartment.
The 327 supplies the power back to the Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission and gasses go out the back thru the dual exhaust and chrome tips as it rides on steel wheels with the factory hubcaps and thin whitewall tires with the chassis looking good too.
An original looking red interior is nice with the original front split bench seat that is very comfortable and appears to have new upholstery. The door panels and headliner match in red as do the carpets and Impala floor mats. It even has the matching red factory original Chevrolet Impala steering wheel.
The whole interior looks original with the engine turned stainless dash housing the factory gauges and knobs, speedometer, and the radio.
The Impala is painted this shade of Ermine White and the paint job is a great choice for the classic Impala. The paint looks good as does the bodywork, chrome and stainless trim, the iconic red stripe down the sides, and the factory emblems.
It rides on period correct Cragar SS chrome mag wheels with Cooper Cobra Radial GT performance tires on them. Also, the trunk is very clean and detailed to and has what appears to be the original spare tire jack, valve cover, and intake and carb.
