Vehicle Description
This 1968 is painted in its original color Meridian Turquoise, code
K. The paint has a nice glossy clear coat finish. All of the chrome
and trim is either new or in nice shape. The front grill and hide
away headlights are in great shape and work as they should. The
front bumper has one imperfection which is shown in a picture. New
mirror, door handles, marker light bezels and new rear bumper. The
stainless around the front and rear windows are nice and shiny.
Weather strips, fuzzies and window seals are all good. It rides on
a set of 15" Rally II wheels with trim rings and PMD center caps
and a new set of BFG T/A radial tires. The interior has a nice set
of bucket seats with a center console and a Hurst dual gate
shifter. The dash is nice with a new dash pad. It comes with a set
of Rally gauges and the desirable hood tach, power windows, power
steering, power front disc brakes, gauge cluster below the dash,
front seatbelts, new carpet and headliner and factory a set of
Pontiac floor mats. In the engine compartment you will find a
period correct 400 cubic inch engine that was completely rebuilt.
It has a polished aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock
4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, HEI ignition, original
exhaust manifolds, 4-core radiator, chrome valve covers and air
cleaner, new wiring harness, washer bottle is hooked up to the
squirters. Firewall and inner fender wells and bottom of hood are
painted in satin black finish. The undercarriage looks like all
clean metal with no rust issues. Chrome oil pan and transmission
pan. All new stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines, new body
bushings, 3:55 rear end, power front disc brakes, newer shocks,
dual exhaust that runs all the way out the back with its correct
trumpet tips, newer gas tank and straps. The trunk is clean. It has
a coat of splatter paint, spare tire with a Rally II wheel, trunk
mat and new trunk weather stripping. This is one great looking GTO
with nice options for a great price!
