outstanding and finding another example in this condition is going
to be near impossible. Plus, this truck has been meticulously
maintained by the selling dealer since new and comes with stacks of

Wisconsin factory on September 22, 1995, it left the line with the
following options ? SLT trim package; six-way power front seats;
hi-back reclining bucket seats; remote keyless entry system; rear
panel doors; extended range radio with cassette deck, theft lock,
seek & scan and more; heavy-duty trailering equipment; engine oil
cooler; heavy-duty transmission oil cooler; folding rear seat;
air-conditioning; and dual remote sideview mirrors. The truck was
delivered to Don Wessel Oldsmobile, Honda, GMC, Suzuki in
Springfield, Missouri, where it was delivered to its original
owners on January 29, 1996. The SLT trim comprises a deluxe front
appearance; aluminum wheels; rear window defroster; power door
locks and windows; roof rack; tilt steering column and cruise
control; and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Dressed in its
original Medium Indigo (code 39), the truck?s paint and trim are in
overall very good condition and still retain the dealer-installed
accessories, such as the air deflector/rock guard attached to the
leading edge of the hood. The body is straight and solid on this
GMC and its engine bay is extremely tidy. The cargo area looks
good. The Super Start battery appears new and the chrome and
body-colored bumpers fit tightly to the body and are in very good
order. Underneath, you will find an extremely tidy undercarriage
with many factory chalk and grease markings. This truck rolls on
Firestone Destination light truck tires, size 245/75R16 at every
corner. Each one is mounted to a factory aluminum wheel. The wheels
and tires are all in very good order and the tires have plenty of
tread. This truck rides a 117.5-inch wheelbase has a 6,800 GVWR, a
30-gallon fuel tank and heavy-duty trailering equipment ? engine
oil cooler and heavy-duty transmission cooler. Under the hood is a
5.7L V-8 engine with electronic fuel injection (code LO5). Backing
this motor is a four-speed automatic transmission (code 4L60E) and
a 3.42:1 rear end. Driver convenience features include
air-conditioning, cruise control, power steering, power brakes,
power windows, power locks, power sideview mirrors, power front
seats, tilt steering column and intermittent wipers. Inside, the
original gray ultrasoft leather interior is in overall very good
order. The front bucket seats are in overall great shape, though
the driver?s seat does show some blemishes. The matching carpet and
headliner are in similar shape, a leather-wrapped four-spoke
steering wheel faces the driver. The instrument panel features a
full array of gauges while the gray inner door lines are in very
good order. A center console, column-mounted shift lever and a
Delco-Bose AM/FM stereo with cassette deck completes the interior.
The Chevrolet Tahoe was introduced in 1995 for the 1995 model year
with the addition of an all-new four-door version. Yukon production
started on January 20, 1995 at Janesville Assembly. The Tahoe was
Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year for 1996. It is named for
Lake Tahoe on the California-Nevada border in the United States.
The Tahoe/Yukon were shorter than the Suburban on which they were
based but shared that vehicle?s GMT400 platform. This was a true
truck chassis and was based on that used in the Chevrolet Silverado
full-size pickup truck. Extensive documentation includes original
owner?s manual, original window sticker, original pre-delivery
inspection, original sales delivery checklist, original credit copy
for vehicle accessories, original warranty and towing assistance
information, vehicle service history and original dealership
folder. Competition to this GMC in 1995 included Chevrolet?s own
Tahoe, Ford?s Bronco, Jeep?s Grand Cherokee, Land Rover?s
Discovery, Mitsubishi?s Montero and Range Rover. If you?re looking
for a vehicle to tow that new boat, to take camping, or just
because, this GMC Yukon is worth a look and more than a few minutes
of your time. Stop by MotoeXotica Classic Cars to take a peek! VIN:
