Vehicle Description
1954 Willys M38A1 Jeep with matching trailer. Nebraska car with
recent restoration with only 140 miles since that time. Just plain
fun for anyone looking for a parade piece , farm utility piece or
something unique just to cruise in this Willys is a solid metal
example that has been completely gone through. Exterior is finished
in the proper green military matte paint outside and inside. Body
is all solid metal and the paint shows very well being a recent
restoration. Sitting on the OEM steel wheels wrapped in STA Tires
Specialty Tires of America to give it the period correct look.
Little details such as rear mounted spare , rear mount for a gas
can , Rear passenger Mounted Axe , Under hood shovel and last but
not least a full correct matching utility trailer that sets this
set up apart from the rest of these M38A1's. Interior is as a
military Jeep should be basic military green cloth seats, black
gauges , dash mounted identification plates, two spoke black
steering wheel with the whole interior sprayed to match the
exterior. A great utilitarian feel with open air fun to get the job
done. Engine is powered by the Go Devil L Head 134CI Straight 4
engine paired to a 3 speed manual transmission. With a stout 60hp
and 105 ft lbs of torque this little devil skoots along just fine
with plenty of power to get the job done. Powering nearly all Jeep
military vehicles during World War II it was a tried and true power
plant. This example excelorates nicely while shifting through all
gears smoothly and stops as good as it drives. Frankman Motor
Company started in 1988 as a small family business that has grown
from an acreage with a converted 2 stall garage as the office to
the largest independent used car dealership in a 5 state area with
almost 50,000 vehicles sold and over 50 employees.
