Nash began post-World War II car production in the fall of 1945.
There were few changes from the 1942 models with the exception of
revised chrome trim and a projecting center section on the lower
grille. Unlike the 1941-42 policy of using the "Ambassador"
nameplate on all three Nash series, the 600 became simply the Nash
600 with the Ambassador nameplate reserved for the senior model.
The 600 we are offering here was just acquired from a large
collector in Illinois. It originally came out of North Dakota. It
is finished inMaroon paint with beautifully and correctly restored
seat upholstery and headliner. Door cards are believed to be
original. The car shows 46,000 miles, which we believe to be
actual. The Nash retains its flat six cylinder engine with a three
speed manual transmission. Engine runs very smoothly and quietly.
The transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. The rear bumper
looks as though it is aluminum, but it isn't. The rest of the
chrome while not show chrome, is very nice. Looks like the spare
be original. "It's Alive Automotive" is a full service restoration,
service and sales facility in Bridgeton, Missouri that opened in
2014. While Jaguar XKEs are our specialty, we restore, service
and sell all types of Classic American and European automobiles.
We offer restorations from full rotisserie, to minor repairs. We
carry an inventory of 100 plus cars ranging from M.G.s to Packards.
We accept trades, offer competitive financing and can help you
arrange shipping anywhere in the world. Call John 314-710-6600 or
