Vehicle Description
The awesome two-tone look makes this 1976 Chevrolet C10 Restomod
instantly distinctive. And when you see the loaded A/C interior,
overdrive transmission, and overall fresh style of this 800-mile
build, you can really see how this classic style machine has a
terrific everyday appeal. But don't forget to peek under the hood,
because there is a modern LS3 juggernaut lurking in this sleek
classic.
Restomods are all about classic style and giving them modern
appeal, and so this one set the tone right with the paint. Orange
and white is a terrific two-tone you see on plenty of vintage C10s,
but this one does it in a whole new way. The modern orange metallic
paint is so radiant that you'll likely need sunglasses any time you
look directly at it during a car show (and we know you're going to
be taking this one to plenty of events.) The white is sandwiched
into the orange with a pinstripe bordering it to give it the crisp
look of a button-down shirt. Not only does the white streak show
off the straightness of the sheet metal as it runs the profile, but
also makes the upgraded 20-inch steel wheels look like an even more
integral part of the truck. Awesome chrome, crystal clear
headlights, deleted trim, and color-matched liner paint in the bed
are all part of a thoughtful style that comes on a thoughtfully
finished and freely done restoration like this.
Just like the exterior, the interior likes to give you the right
hints of classic truck style while also delivering the best
upgrades. For example, the carpeting, door panels, dash, and bench
seat look like you'd get on a vintage C10, but it all has the fresh
feeling of a quality investment. This was built to be more
comfortable, and that means cold-blowing air conditioning and an
AM/FM stereo with USB and hands-free Bluetooth. The sports steering
wheel is finished in gray to go with the upholstery, but it's a new
sports unit mounted on a tilt column. It gives you a good view of
the wraparound gauge panel that's now filled with upgraded backlit
readouts.
While this one is a stunner inside and out, the best investment in
this pickup is under the hood. There was a 6.2-liter LS3 motor
installed. These made 420+ horsepower in the Camaro, and the
consignor states there was only about 18k miles on the motor. It
was added with such a show-worthy tidiness that this modern high
horsepower fuel-injected V8 looks like it belonged here since day
one. It's even been installed with the right pieces, like an
aluminum radiator w/electric fan and BBK headers. As you look
underneath, it's all so clean that you can see everything from the
c-notched frame to the newer bushings. And it's built to be an
all-around driver with power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and the six-speed automatic transmission also borrowed from modern
Chevrolets.
Fresh, bright, comfortable, stylish, and absolutely powerful - this
is a great all-around restomod pickup. Don't miss this
one-of-a-kind. Call now!
