Vehicle Description
This generation of F-Series is really coming into its own on the
classic market because they have a nostalgic look while still
carrying the best modern features to get the job done. So that's
what gets us particularly excited about this 1993 Ford F-150 XLT
Extended Cab 4x4. It has a nice look, fuel-injected V8, loaded
interior, low mileage, and more. And not only do you get impressive
features, but also this is a go-anywhere 4x4 offered for quite an
obtainable price.
This truck does a nice job of making a good first impression. The
Mocha Frost Metallic paint retains a bright and clean look. It's a
nice midpoint between darker features like the tinted windows, and
all the extra brightwork you get on a loaded XLT-level pickup (this
includes the chrome bumpers, bright grille, brushed tailgate
insert, full-length trim, and polished alloys.) It's an attractive
total package, but it's nothing too fancy that will stop you from
using the bed or towing your favorite toys with the proper trailer
hitch. And that's the overall appeal of this one. It's the right
mix of vintage style and true truck usability.
Another reason you want an XLT like this is for the loaded and
premium interior. It has a clean look that reminds you this pickup
has only averaged about 2,100 miles annually thus far. It's this
kind of less use you can see and feel in important places, like the
driver's bucket seat. Front captain's chairs were an expensive
option, but absolutely worth it. After all, you get the comfort of
individual buckets with armrests, a cup holder center console, and
power-adjusting lumbar support. The extended cab setup means a
versatile rear that gives you a place to carry more people or a
secure place for cargo. There are great factory features, like
power windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, provisions for
the factory stereo (you may want to upgrade,) and cold-blowing air
conditioning.
Another expensive but worthwhile option was the larger 5.8-liter
V8. It's a longstanding hardy Ford powerhouse, and this comes from
the era of factory fuel injection. Plus, there have been some nice
updates like an Airaid air intake MSD distributor, MSD coil, and
headers. It makes for a V8 that fires up readily and feels even
more eager out on the streets. And when the pavement ends, the
two-speed 4x4 transfer case gives you proper go-anywhere ability.
The power steering and power brakes with discs up front are there
to make it nice on the road, too. In fact, this one is really set
up for the long haul. That's why you have a four-speed automatic
transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive. Plus, there are dual
fuel tanks and cruise control to eat away the extra miles with
ease.
This is an awesome combination of modern classic style and true 4x4
capability. So don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
