This 1986 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 is a really cool and clean truck
that spent its life in Idaho and Wyoming. A very original
squarebody truck with a few nice updates and a great look. A great
running and driving truck!! The body on this pickup is straight and
clean. It appears to be all original paint with the exception of
the roof and the colors are Dark Chestnut Metallic and Tan. The
paint still shines and looks great with a little patina coming
through. A great looking rig!! All of the trim and chrome is still
in great condition and the underside is very clean and solid, We
found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is in really nice original condition. Everything
appears to be original except for the newly recovered seat and new
headliner. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. All of the gauges are working and the
heat, horn, wipers work. This is an AC truck and the AC is complete
but it is not blowing cold.
Mechanically this truck is awesome!! The engine is a newer GM
Goodwrench 350 v8 crate engine with a mild cam. (have Receipt).
They added Holley Sniper Fuel Injection kit, headers, and dual
flowmaster exhaust. This engine runs strong and we found no issues
or red flags. It has the np435 4 Speed Manual transmission that
shifts nice with a good clutch. It is mated to the np208 transfer
case and the 4WD works like it should. It has 10 Bolt Axles on the
front and rear. We found no axle tags, but per our test drive we
believe it is probably a 3.73 gear. It recently had a nice 4 Inch
lift kit installed and they added new aluminum rims with 35 Inch
Mickey Thompson off road tires. Great looking truck!!!
