Vehicle Description
This 1990 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat loves to be an extra capable 4x4
that also has the right amount of vintage flair. So look over
everything from the long bed utility to the A/C interior, and
you'll soon realize that this one offers it all... and it's offered
for quite a nice price.
This Ford makes quite an impression. After all, this generation
F-series has some of the most sturdy/blocky lines ever, and it only
gets more tough-looking on a tall 4x4. The two-tone shades of blue
are quite distinctive, and it's the factory-correct color combo.
There looks like there have been a few touch-up areas over the
years, but you will still be impressed by the orally glossy style.
Of course, the quality impression may also have to do with the
attractive full-length blue pinstripe and/or the straightness of
the sheet metal that tells you this is a well-respected pickup.
There are also nice investments you can see, like the newer side
trim and newer headlights. And those polished alloys make for a
great way to show off the extra-duty 8-lug wheels. It makes for an
overall package that looks good but won't be afraid to show you how
it can still get the job done. That's why there's a color-matched
camper shell over the very useful long bed, wide towing mirrors,
and a Class III hitch receiver on the rear. In fact, the included
window sticker even tells us this was born with the upgraded Camper
Package.
The interior is a sea of blue that has nice originality. An XLT
Lariat is a premium trim, and that means premium features, like
power windows, power locks, cruise control, a tilt steering column,
and full gauges with tach. There's an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with
aux input for better driving music. You may find a few areas that
show some details that have worn with age or may want to replace
the carpeting, but it doesn't take away from the overall attractive
stock-style setup. When it comes to airflow, you have side vent
windows, sliding rear glass, and even a pop-out sunroof. And all of
this can feel comfortable because you also have cold-blowing air
conditioning.
Under the hood is a blue oval legend. This was optioned with the
larger 5.8-liter/351 cubic-inch V8. And this hardy powerhouse comes
with the added benefit of factory electronic fuel injection.
Another great feature about a classic of this era is that you get a
four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It's mated to a
4.10 rear end to let you get off the line quickly and give you good
low-end gearing for real truck work. The two-speed 4x4 transfer
case, lifted stance, and Pathfinder All-Terrain tires are also
there to get the job done. Power steering, power brakes, and front
discs are great anytime driving features. And no matter if you are
going down the highway or making your way through nature, the dual
fuel tanks let you go farther.
Complete with the window sticker, this is the extra-duty F-250 with
a lot of extra appeal. Don't miss out, call today!
