1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville, First Generation, only produced for 2
years '59 and '60. A super mix of "elegance, luxury and
performance". True "Motor City" cars as these two-year Cadillacs
were only made in Detroit Michigan. FACTORY AC! Power windows,
power door locks, 2-way power seats. Standard equipment includes
power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, dual back-up
lamps, two-speed wipers, wheel outside rearview mirror, vanity
mirror. X-frame construction. Standard equipment included power

cubic inch 6.4 Liter V-8. Overhead valves, output an impressive 325
horsepower for the time. Large 4 barrel. Four-speed Hydro Matic
transmission. Very nice Cadillac Pompeian Red Metallic. Terrific
body fit, lines and gaps. A beautifully shaped hood (a mile long)
with hump shaped fender tops that partially hooded dual
side-by-side headlights. The ends of the fenders have a thin trim
piece that accents the curves of the fender. Each fender is topped
with a "airplane tail shaped" chrome trim piece that ends @ the
windshield molding. Beautiful wrap around the side front bumper
with bumper guards. The rear bumper is a piece of art in itself
with blacked out ribs that merge at each end into the large bright
chrome rear taillight surrounds. Iconic long sharp tailfins with
dual vertical round taillights with a thick and a thin chrome ring
enclosing each. The tail fins are simply amazing, topped with
chrome trim and the drop into a triangular shape with a taillight
lens, it's simply to hard to explain in words, you have to see
them! Interior is done in Chadwick Red cloth wrapped in White vinyl
creating a wonderful contrast that separates the seats from the red
carpeting. Two tone Red and White door panels completed by chrome
trim and chrome switch controls for power windows. The name Deville
is derived from the French de la ville or de ville meaning of the
town. The Cadillac Deville is the nameplate used by Cadillac over
eight generations, originally used to designate a trim level of the
1949 Cadillac Series 62. Brand New White Wall Tires just installed.
