This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 283/245hp
V8 engine with dual-quad 4-barrel carburetors and retains the
chrome ignition shielding with GM aluminum intake and aluminum GM
valve covers. Finished in Onyx Black with a beige interior, it is
equipped with a 3-spoke competition steering wheel, pleated door
panels, chrome shifter, optional heater and push-button-style radio
with a cassette player. It rides on matching black steel wheels
with single-spinner hubcaps wrapped in wide whitewall tires. This
is one of 6,339 Corvettes made in 1957 and one of 2,045 equipped
with the 245hp engine.
