1983 Cadillac Seville, HT 4100 4.1 Liter V8 Engine, Automatic
Transmission, Production Years for Series: 1980 - 1985. A very
luxurious 4 door sedan. Featuring the "HT 4100" V 8 Displacement:
249.0 cu in. | 4.1 L. Power: 135 HP @ 4400 RPM. Torque: 200 Ft-Lbs.
@ 2000 RPM. Compression: 8.5:1. Valvetrain: 16 OHV (2 valves per
cylinder) Aluminum Block: The car received good reviews for its
smooth operation, rare for 80s GM motors, but lacked horsepower.
Digital Fuel Injection. Automatic transmission. Reminder chimes,
electronic climate control with outside temperature display,
automatic truck locking (and release), side defoggers, rear reading
lamps, overhead assist handles, an automatic power antenna for the
electronic-tuned radio. Also standard: an under-hood light. lamp
monitors, power windows and door locks, actually power everything,
twin remote mirrors, cornering lamps, four-wheel power disc brakes.
Much of the Coach work was done by Roman Chariot of Cleveland,
Ohio. This car was perfect for long, long road trips in total
comfort. Superior ride, steering and handling. Lots of convenience
lighting for reading maps at night as these days were prior to GPS
and Google maps. Interior-very nice condition. Color - Cadillac
White Gloss. Beautiful wood grain dash face. Wood grain behind
vinyl hand grips on the door panels, which were vertically stitched
ribbed on 3/4's of the top and carpeting across the very bottom
with courtesy lights. Double stitching and a ridge create an
elegant dash pad, in vinyl in excellent condition. Prefect fit and
stretch molded to the steel underneath. Extra comfortable
beautifully crafted vinyl bench seat with headrest and a fold down
center armrest. Paint & Body - Cadillac Cameo Ivory (50). Excellent
body fit, lines and gaps. The body features, a unique, sharp, down
sloping angle that begins with a slight curve. Side, body molding,
accentuates the shape. Everything goes in a circle and the grills
on the majority of the cars in the 80s were less, versus the big
wide mouth grills of the 50s. A inverted rectangle, still very
elegant, but what is the majority of the design work in painted
sections of sheet metal. Hood ornaments were back and she has one.
Factory steel wheels with spokes pointing to the Cadillac branding
/ logo. Thin white wall radial tires. This vehicle is either
classic, antique, exotic, super rare, or all of the above. This
vehicle is being sold from one of the largest automobile museums in
