I say RARE because only 10,442 2002 Two Door Sedans were imported into the U.S. in 1975, the LAST and they tell me the BEST year of 2002 production !! The BMW 2002 was a stunning body style in 1975 and still is some 41 years later. We recently purchased this BMW from the previous older retired local Idaho owner and as you can tell this car has been his pride and joy for sure !! I drove this 2002 for about a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL, TO FUN !! The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold, ORIGINAL "BMW" valve cover, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL carburetor, Etc... . Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The GORGEOUS !! - Code "021" - "Malaga" Maroon exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright, shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the video and 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train all seems to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Badging, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Aluminum front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black rubber front and rear bumper guards and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Front grill. Check out the AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL steel wheels with correct BMW center caps and chrome trim rings wrapped in a set of BRAND NEW steel belted radial tires. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this 2002 and really give it that clean - "FACTORY ORIGINAL" - look !! The Clean - Solid trunk also sports the VERY NICE ORIGINAL black vinyl liner, a full size radial spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This Classic BMW 2002 is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in BEAUTIFUL !! condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well.
