A school bus was t-boned by a truck in Camillus Tuesday afternoon.

A West Genesee Central School District bus was traveling east on Route 5 when a driver of a Chevy Equinox made a right off of Cobbler Way and t-boned the bus according to the Camillus Police Department.

There were nine children on the bus, and no serious injuries were reported. The bus driver, a woman in her late 50s, suffered a minor injury.

The driver of the Equinox complained of minor neck pain.

Camillus Police say that the kids were loaded onto another bus to drive them home. Superintendent David Bills communicated the update to the parents of the students involved.
