Cadillac did a wonderful V-16 powered Aero-Dynamic coupe for 1934 with reported input from newer designers like Harley Earl. It looked great and Ricko did a superb version in 1/18. I had to eventually get two of them ...... a blue one and a black one. They look magnificent and the real car must have been awesome.

An attention getter even with the foreground distractions. Very nice model well presented, Mike.

Looks like you hit a winner with this Ricko. The quality of the Ricko lineup was so spotty that I never took a gamble on this Caddy. It's great that you did.

@rich-sufficool That's too bad Rich, it's actually a very nice model. I chose the blue one; the interior is a bit weak, but the rubber Cadillac "dolly"  means it can never be snapped off! 😏

As beautiful as these fast-back models are... I considered fabricating a traditional coupe. I'd sure love to have either one of these in 1/18 scale. 🤔

Really beautiful black 2-door Cadillac coupes displayed here ! The giant vehicle in the first image looks like it was at a Pebble Beach automobile event.

Mike, your last photo gives us  clear insight as to where Cadillac got the idea for Dagmars.

Lol ! Hmmm, yep, they are appropriately shaped for that purpose, too, Bob ! Smile

@chris - Fabricating a coupe?  Now, THAT would be a challenging project!  And for sure, a one-of-a-kind that is unlikely ever to be done by a diecast manufacturer in 1:18 scale.

@marty-johnson ....it is possible. I'd bet a good starting point might be to take the front part of the roof (and A-pillars) and used that as a starting point to fabricate the rear section of the roof (and C-pillars). Then add a sheet of "slopping" brass plate for the trunk, a little Bondo here & there.... and BAHM! One coupe ready for primer & paint! 😏 😏
