Repaint #3 of Danbury Mint's yellow 1969 Hemi Charger. This time I chose paint code F3, Light Green Poly, a fairly popular color of the day. I changed the interior color from black to white which was a bit of a challenge with all of the small chrome parts on the door panels, plus the seat belts. I also corrected the front door armrests. DM put them on the wrong doors.
Dismantled and stripped
Body and engine compartment pieces painted
Interior and headliner from black to white. I matched the interior white to the '70 Plum Crazy Charger. It's actually a dirty white.
I slightly lowered the front suspension. RWL tires are from FM 'Cuda.
Here's the Charger before I switched out the tires.
Thanks for looking!
Pete,
That was an awesome project and outcome! Can you show a few steps with tips on disassembly and reassemble? I never even considered this but occasionally see them only in their final state 👍👍
You do love your Chargers. Really nice work.
Pete, what a great looking Charger. Thanks for sharing. I too would like to see some more about the disassembly.
Phenomenal job, awesome color choice!
Very nice selection of Chargers. Your work on these models is always exceptional. I love the color choices.

you color selection couldn`t be finer !!!......wonderful work and immaculate paint!!
Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments!
@greatmachines and John Napoli: The disassembly process is different for each model, and I generally don't take pics when I take a car apart. However, I have a '70 'Cuda convertible that I've been saving for a project that I would be happy to take pictures of during disassembly. Give me a few days and I'll have some pics for ya!
brilliant job Pete
Great collection of Chargers..!
