I thought David's old Peugeot seemed familiar, or it could have been the Dubray name. @david-green

I looked in my boxes and found some older stuff though, not at all streamlined like David's... By Eligor of France and diecast.
The grey Berline (sedan) is a 1931 Peugeot 201 with suicide front doors! It was the company's first mass produced model (1929-37) and helped them weather the depression. The 201 was the first Peugeot to named using three numerals with a middle zero! Now they sell 108s and 208s so they have not progressed too far in almost 100 years! 😉
The blue Berline is a 1933 Citroen Rosalie. So not too much older than the streamlined Peugeot that David showed! It is very similar in size and shape to the 201, but is slightly larger. This time, the suicide doors are in the back! This was the basic Citroen from 1932-38 before the Traction Avant came out. Three versions were offered with different lengths depending on the size of the engine - the 8, 10, and 15CV.
Hi Karl,
Thanks for posting these ELIGOR Peugeots. At one time I was collecting all the Eligor models that I could find. I liked the fact that they were made in France, although I understand some were actually Swiss. I still have nearly all their Jaguars but also several Peugeot from early days to the 1970 Peugeot 504, and a variety of other makes. I have a couple of 201s, a taxi and a similar one to yours. These unfortunately are currently boxed and stored, a problem when you collect too much. Yours bring back good memories and I must do a little digging.
Like many early Eligors, the Peugeot 201 was originally a plastic Norev. I used to have one in gray with black fenders.
Some Eligor Citroen delivery vans ("camionettes") based on the Ctroen Rosalie, I think...

Yes, the Rosalie - I liked these because each box came with a small catalog with all the Eligor offerings at the time!
I forgot to mention that I got these at Polk's Hobbies on 5th Ave in NYC many many years ago. Did anyone else go there?

Good topic, gentlemen. My next kit project, which I haven't yet started, in going to be the Mikansue Grand Tourisme 24, the Voisin Aerodyne. It was an unusual high range French automobile, especially in this 1935 and later form. Here are some pictures:
The first two pictures are the kit, and the second two are pictures of restored examples of the 1:1. My white metal kit has never been opened; it should be a real experience for me! Don't expect a quick report on the finished project.

Oh yes, I forgot that when I opened this post, I did it to add another Eligor delivery truck for this topic:
@d-m-holcombe David - Here's the pictures again from my recent post on the Aerodyne to help with the build.
@mg-harv Thanks, Harv. Your report is what reminded me that I had this kit stuck back. Mine has the round rooftop windows. I like these 2-color paint jobs, too. I just spent an hour grinding out casting excess, extending open areas for the wheels, and priming. Right now I'm leaning towards a black/gray 2-tone.
