Dear friends, I have just got the first two unfinished prototypes of my new model, the 1949 Oldsmobile 88 Station Wagon.
As you can see, there are many details still to add, for example the side window frames.
But yuo can get a first sight of this model.
Very good choice and it looks great. This one will be an outstanding seller I'm sure.
Very nice.

I am in! It looks great so far Sergio!
I will love getting this for my extensive woodie collection. I would sure like to see Crest Blue as one color options and Tawnee Buff or
Praline Brown Poly for the other color choice. They would really set the wood off. Greens have been done many times in 1/43 woodies.
The grey is a little to cold and doesn't compliment the wood as a warmer color would.
Just a thought.
A wonderful looking Oldsmobile station wagon ! The grey color is very elegant and the wood trim sets it off very well.
I will love getting this for my extensive woodie collection.
I love me some woody wagons!

Great color suggestions Curtis; especially the Praline Brown poly and Tawnee Buff. Brooklin did the Crest Blue on their coupe didn't they? Come to think of it I believe Brooklin did their '49 Olds 98 HT in Praline Brown over Tawnee Buff.
A must have for my collection. Good suggestions on color Curtis.
Bruce Arnold did a few Olds woodies in Praline Brown but that model (a 1950 if memory serves) left a lot to be desired. This color would look great on the Goldvarg.
Just checked the '49 Olds color chart; Garnet Maroon and Crest Blue would also contrast really well with the wood effect.
Harv, I have Bruce Arnold model and agree it leaves a lot to be desired. I bought it at the Countryside show three years ago for a very low price.
@bob-jackman I too have the Bruce Arnold '50 Olds wagon. Unfortunately for me not at a low price. I'm glad the Goldvarg model is a '49. Now I don't feel quite as bad about having the '50 Olds. Obviously the '49 Olds will be worlds better.
@jack-dodds I would really like the Tawnee Buff because the Bruce Arnold model is Praline Brown Poly as the Bruce Arnold '50 is Praline Brown Poly. There was a Crest Blue Olds wagon at a car show once that I thought looked stunning, that's way my suggestion of that color.
@jack-dodds I am not familiar with Brooklin using these colors on the models mentioned but I'm am just going on what i think would compliment the wood the best.
