As Packard established itself as the premiere luxury marque customers began to ask for brochures. But Packard hadn’t published much of anything. Their response—“Ask the man who owns one!” That became their slogan. Some years ago Brooklin issued this nice replica of a ‘47 Custom Super Clipper in two tone metallic gray. For some reason I think it was fairly rare. A light blue one was issued first followed by the gray one, Does anybody know the correct information about this Brooklin Packard? An older Brooklin model, it is fairly expensive on the secondary market and is rare.

We don't have the production numbers, but hobbyDB has these years:
Vanderbilt blue - 2002-05
Lowell grey met/Vanderbilt grey - 2005-09
Guess where I went to undergraduate school? 😉
Taken directly from the Brooklin models collector Guide.
(I would be very surprised if you didn't have this book David, with you being the biggest Brooklin fan I know)
There are no production numbers stated, just time in production.
“Brooklins are not mass produced. Our production runs are counted in hundreds Not thousands so our models tend to have a rarity value.” Also quoted from Brooklin.

A beautiful model. I know that when I discovered this model, the blue was quick and easy find. The gray took quite awhile to find.

I have the two-tone gray as well. Plus this version by CMF.
I have the two-tone gay as well.
This is a family show Harv....rated PG 🤗
If he has a gay friend, even if he is two-tone, it's OK with me. Nothing wrong with that! 😆
I had to have this two tone limousine since a friend here has a magnificently restored dark blue one.
