Recently Route 66 Models issued a brand new 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona Wagonaire in three colors. I couldn't resist the blue one after seeing the unboxing video John Kuvakas did. Along with it I also picked up the white version. I do believe the model looks excellent in white. With two of them, I can display one with the roof hatch open and one closed. These were very unique wagons when they were introduced, and with as many car shows that I have attended, I've seen two of them.
Along with these two wagons, this photo-set also includes a convertible I picked up from Route 66 a few months ago. All three models are making their "photo debut"
1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona Wagonaire Station Wagon in Blue Mist Poly, Ermine White & a Lark Daytona Convertible in Regal Red.
Oh I forgot, Mr. Ed(s) are packed away in the box. When they are displayed, they will be featured in then.
Oops I forgot, I was going to add a couple shots of the 1:1s I've seen...

At 10yrs old I always liked these Studies !
Especially that wagon with the retractable roof !
I didn't have any of the
models. I liked the 1:1's
Nice! I like all of them.
I might have to upgrade in scale and detail! 😯
I have the blue matchbox version, had for years and years since I was a kid. Mine unfortunately, is in "played with" condition.

I too have the blue one because of John's unboxing video. I have mine displayed with the Indy Pace car convertible and the hardtop with the sun roof.
These Studebakers look terrific ! My Dad had Studebaker as a client back in 1963 so he bought a '63 Wagonaire. It was great fun to ride around town in the warm months with your head above the roof in the cool breeze. It certainly got a double take from people. LOL, and I have some of those small diecast Studebaker wagons, too !
Do you have like a huge warehouse full of models? You have a lot I've never seen, and I've been in the hobby for 60 years!

Well I really don't, at least don't discuss it with my wife 'cause she might have a different opinion.

Believe me John, I totally understand. I used to have a huge collection of models that I'd built over the years (some of them are still on my site: https://www.shamblesmodels.com/built.html
My ex wouldn't let me display them anywhere in the house, so I set up a display in my office. She worked at our business too, and I could tell she was annoyed when, the first thing a client asked about would be, "all those cool models".
Lovely models and super photos as usual, John. It is nice to see Buz issue a wagon based on Paul Patterson's terrific convertible. Aside from the Matchbox models that Karl provided, the only other Wagonaire miniature I recall was by Vertex, a 1964 in resin of which I guess only a few dozen were made....come to think of it, a few years ago, Buz Kirkel had a few on his Route66modelcarstore website. Could it be that this new version somehow is connected with that earlier model? I am sure that it is in spirit...i.e. inspiration! Perhaps Vlad Sorokolat could enlighten us. Here is a poor photo from my book, Independents in Miniature of the Vertex version.
