With all the recent discussion about Brooklin Models, much has been said. I have nothing to add to the conversation that is different from what's been covered. I'll keep my thoughts my own.
What I will do is to continue to support Brooklin when I can for as long as they are around and to celebrate the 690 Brooklin models I have in my collection. Here's the first one I've chosen to feature in that celebration. Thank-you for looking.
1936 Buick Special Series 40 Model 46S Sport Coupe - B.C. 022 (The Buick Collection 1934-1939) -I changed this 2nd model in my collection to black wall tires.

I look forward to seeing your celebration models.

A really nice Brooklin here ! And it is a particularly fine car from both Buick and white metal model of it from Brooklin.
Thanks, John. It's a beautiful model, and (I never thought I would hear myself say this) it looks great with those blackwalls.

Great pictures John. Brooklin was running in high gear with their Buick and Pontiac collections. From a marketing standpoint, collectors like you and I, were waiting for the next model in the collection....brilliant! There were so many more stories that could have been told. I have said on a few occasions that Brooklin models of cars of the thirties were truly works of art with fine detailing.
The look is so different with the black wall tires that when taking a rapidly look, I thought it was a model I had missed. Here is mine obtained at a very reasonable price.
It looks great w/whitewall tires as well. I will need to track my other one and feature them together in some photos.

In the Buick collection, I also have the 1937 Buick Special 2-door coupe M46 Beige and the 1938 Buick Special Sport coupe Maroon. The two together photographed next to each other should form a beautiful match much like your remarkable photos of the 1938 Buick with the 1938 Cadillac Series sixty coupe marine in a winter scene. When I saw it, I said to myself I must have these two models in my collection. I didn't have models from the thirties and Bob rightly the Brooklins from the thirties are real works of art. I am happy in having a few in my collection.
