I've wanted a model of the '58 Vauxhall PA for years and this new offering from Trax exceeds my expectations
That looks spectacular! When I was at primary school the dad of one of my classmates had a brand new one. It was grey over pink - or Mountain Rose to give it its proper name. Interior was red and black. The owner was Mr Woodberry and his company, Woodberry and Haines, made school furniture. This company was the first to make school chairs with pale blue painted tubular steel frames and bent plywood seats and backs. Our school was probably among the first to get them - possibly because of him, I don't know. So, any Brits on these Forums who remember plonking their rear ends on chairs like this will probably have experienced chairs made in Highbridge, Somerset!
Corgi Vanguards issued aplethora of colors of the Cresta a few years ago, plus an estate version. I have the sedan in maroon and silver. Not as detailed as the Trax, but then I got mine for $19.
@mg-harv And there was (is) the Oxford Diecast estate as well. Mine is silver/black.

Great to see this one. Mine was rose and grey. Picked it up in England in July 1958 and had it shipped back to Canada in September. This was a slightly belated birthday present from my parents and my first new vehicle. Did 4000 miles in Britain that summer. Liked it so much that I bought a used 1959 in grey a few years later. Second image is back in Canada with my girlfriend (now wife) sitting on the back.
I collected models of the Vauxhall Cresta PA and have a significant number, mostly Matchbox by and also Pathfinder. I will have to get the Trax. The Oxford and others are PB Crestas, I believe.
Here is one of the Oxford Diecast Vauxhall PA estates. They probably do multiple colors.
