The Stamp Cadillac range is IMO great value for money.  They are also bringing out a beautiful 1949 Cadillac convertible in top down or up versions which looks gorgeous.  Ads are already on ebay; delivery stated for early January.

This 1955 Cadillac shown is IMO the epitome of the frequent comment that the front and rear end styling of the 50s Eldorado Biarritz seem at odds with one another.  The white color displayed seems to me to minimize this effect however.  I will probably buy it though, as I have the following years covered and it's nice to have the era represented on display.

Also on their FB page is the '69 Coupe de Ville.  They mention that some inaccuracies pointed out by some viewers will be addressed.

I want it for that outrageous color featured that year called, "Chateau Mauve Firemist".  Mom called it Burple and was definitely not our doctor's Cadillac.

Yeah, that is a pretty cool and unusual color, so is the Wisteria color they had in '69.  Many beautiful color choices offered by GM in '69.

This is obviously a very early sample with a number of corrections needed but I would expect their finished product to be very attractive and accurate as usual.  I may spring for this color.....sure would provide a contrast in my Cadillac display!

@jack-dodds, judging by their track record, I would anticipate the correction being made before production. The color is DDG!

John;  this color reminds me somewhat of the purple color offered on the 1969 Mercury line.  I worked as a gofer grease monkey at a Mercury dealership that year and of course saw/drove all the colors for that year.  I liked the purple on the Mercury 2drht., with the contrasting vinyl roof.  many people commented negatively on it but I loved it.  It was a bit darker than the 69 Caddy shade.

@jack-dodds This will be a nice model. I sold all my collection about 7 years ago. I started back buying a few Caddies and Buicks a few months ago and I am amazed at the evolution of the 1/43 scale with the new resin models from GLM, Stamp, True Scale. A few weeks ago, I just got a GIM 1956 Eldorado Biarritz and it is stunning.

The 1/43 scale evolution is now a far step ahead of what was the toyish Brooklins, NEOs, Solidos and so but of course there is a price to pay.

Among my other favorites are Matrix 1937 Cadillac Coupe (W/O side mounts), GLM 1941 Buick Roadmaster in black, TSME 1949 Buick Riviera, GIM 1938 Cadillac Town Sedan, GLM 1941 Cadillac Coupe and Convertible Sedan,  GLM 1942 Cadillac Series 67 Sedan, GLM 1951 Cadillac Convertible. The only other brand I have is the Automodello Cream 1937 Packard Victoria

I agree it will be a lovely model as per everything STAMP/GLM produce these days.  I almost went with the white one but balked on the white interior providing minimal contrast (a decision I may regret...lol.) but bought the top-down copper color instead.

@jkuvakas

John,

There are multiple issues with this model. It couldn't sit on my shelf if I received it free!!

It is true that it may be a pre-production piece, but with all the issues, there is no guarantee that it will come out correct.

I think we really gotta stop calling mediocre models "nice work".

@lloyd-mecca, easy Lloyd, we're all friends here. I'm just saying that Stamp has done a good job so far. We have no reason to suspect they will drop the ball at this point. If they do, we should simply pass by on buying one. Perhaps it might be better to stop knocking models based on one picture of a prototype.
