Description

Polynesian Green. The ED Falcon was built from Aug 1993- Aug 1994. The second facelift on the EA26 Falcon, the ED received many improvements over the old EB, the most obvious visual change was the new oval shaped grille. Only Sedans and Wagons were available in GLi, Futura, Fairmont and Fairmont Ghia, Utes were still the old XF shape. The GLi got manual trans power steer and mirrors, steel wheels The Futuras; Climate control, Cruise control, ABS, body coloured mirrors. The Fairmont; auto trans, power windows, velour interior, alloys Fairmont Ghia: leather interior, alloys The sports models were the XR6 and XR8; Tickford improved engine and suspension, quad headlight front, red body mould, rear spoiler, sports interior, alloys The limited edition XR8 Sprint got even better performance, running gear was pretty much straight out of the EB GT. 354 Sprints were made, 182 manual and 172 autos, colours were Dynamic White, LeMans Red, Black Pearl, Polynesian Green and Cobalt Engines; 148kw 4.0 6 (Tickford 161kw) or 165kw 5.0 V8 (195kw Sprint)
