Quite a few people appreciate a good murdered-out American muscle car or sports car. Plenty of people love restomod vehicles. We’re loving this murdered-out restomod Chevy C10 for the same reasons and more. While nobody’s going to be using this truck to haul sod since it’s just too good-looking for that kind of work, the bed is still usable enough to transport other things, maybe even your motorcycle, and it will do so with aggressive class.
There are plenty of builds and even production cars which look fast but don’t have the guts to back that up. Fortunately not all the cash was spent on aesthetics with this C10. It’s hiding a 383ci stroker V8 with a big cam set for higher compression, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performance Air Gap intake, plus a Holley double-pumper race-style 4bbl carb. Backed by a Borg Warner T5 five-speed manual transmission, which sends that power to a 12-bolt 3.73 Positraction rear, this truck will truly move you fiercely.
Boom tube pipes inspired by NASCAR racing ensure you have the proper soundtrack for this truck. Meanwhile, an aluminum radiator keeps this thing running cool, even in the summer months. Power front disc brakes, trailing arm rear suspension with CPP upgrades, and an extra-beefy front sway bar keep you in control.
Among the many aesthetic treatments is a front bumper delete, smoothed tailgate with mounted spoiler, headlights hidden behind a large front grille, and a side-exit exhaust. The interior is definitely motorsports-inspired with a push-button ignition, Hurst shifter, and Longacre aluminum steering wheel. The seats look comfortable and have big side bolsters plus airbags.
