pics of the new DD/Project car! 7-01-Update
Finally got her to the point where I can drive her everyday! :D
Here she is only a couple days after she finally was back on the road. she was bound for the scrap yard before I rescued her.
Last Thursday after I put my Power Bulge hood on.
today after I gave her her first bath by me and probably her first bath in well over a year!
......and yes those are REAL Amber Euro-Spec marker/turn signal lights!

Cruise?!?Bzevey wrote:Just need some headlight gaskets and new headlights :P and get the other stuff mounted to it...you should take it to sioux center this friday for the cruise :P
Almost forgot there was a cruise and show down there this weekend. I'll have to see if Jodi cares if I go. Her mom is coming down to stay with us this weekend, so she might get upset if i go.
I think her mom is not coming until Saturday mourning and i think Jodi works Friday night. If thats the case I'll be there!
Hoping to have the spare set of headlights I started polishing done sometime soon. No real big hurry though. I'm still kinda spent from spending almost every night in May out in the garage working on her, so I'm in no rush to work on her right now. If anything gets done this week it will be installing my fog/driving lights so I can see better at night!

Thanks.silver_bullet_04 wrote:Im loving the mudflaps lol j/k cars got potential
I had those on my 97 when I bought her in 1998. ran them for a while then got tried of them. When I was putting this together I decided to put on every neon Mopar Accessory I had laying around.
I think they help with the sleeper look.

well since my baby is totaled I decided that maybe I will run the 16" ADR wheels I was going to put back on my baby on my DD.
Also did some mocking up of my roof rack and grille bar.
new headlight gaskets in and grille bar in.
let me know what everyone thinks.
grille bar? yes/no
roof rack? yes/no
white wheels? yes/no repaint gloss black?
I think I will be painting the wheels gloss black. They have some road rash and to look good require CONSTANT cleaning.

Grill bar isn't bad, but BOOO on the rack. Kinda takes away that smooth neon look.

mud flaps are staying!
rack will be going on after I repaint it black.
I think I will begin cleaning up the white wheels this weekend and spray bombing them gloss black. I need new tuner lugnuts as mine are pretty rusty and the lug key likes to stick in them.
I have a flat black grlle bar to throw in it if I can find it!
It will also have the new Stealth Depos in it real soon.

personally, I like the white wheels on that car, although the colors may be a bit off with the light. The grille bar would be a go and the roof rack a no... IMO... so I guess we're pretty different on looks lol
did you spraypaint the hood flat black? I ask because it looks like primer... I know you said it was flat black, but just making sure it wasn't a primer cause if it is, primer's porous and water can soak through it and rust the hood.
