It has 135,000 km and is a very clean car
The next day after i bought it noticed a small coolant leak. So i decided to put my pressure tester on the cooling system and the rad started spewing coolant everywhere. Luckily i got a hold of a new rad for a good price and put that in. The old one was rotton like you wouldn't believe. So another two days go by and I noticed a small spot of oil under my car. After powerwashing the engine top and bottom and then taking it for a good drive I discovered I had two leaks. One being the cam seal and the other being the rear main seal. A rear main seal, cam seal, axle seals, new gear oil, 2lower ball joints, a rear brake service and 10 hours later my car is certified and no longer leaking any oil. Funny is that I checked the car out on two seperate occasions before I purchased and there were no signs of any leaks. The guy was still driving it daily as well. The guy must have been engine shampooing before every visit. Weird
Over the next couple days i decided to do a few small things. Te first being relocating the battery to the trunk and the second being putting on a k&N air filter I had lying around (only set-up as a warm air right now but will get changed to cold air) Also have to make a bracket for the pdc.
Thats how it sits right now as I decided that I would pinch one more winter out of my volkswagen golf and save my neon till spring. However with the nice weather the past few days I decided it was time to get back to working on the neon and start a project log.
