What nissan red paint code is this ?

Super Red?

Might not even be a stock color.

Looks like Aztec Red.

That reminds me of Mitsu's red. My old 1st gen eclipse was that color.

any guess as to what the paint code is for these reds

Totally not aztec red.

Aztec red is AH3, the red on ka24de s13's. It's sort of dark cherry/bloody metallic, of the sort that turns maroon when it fades.

I don't think that's a nissan color, or if it is it's a more modern one, but it's a lot closer to super red than aztec red.

Oh, I have no idea, I just know aztec red because I have an aztec red 240. And I know super red because it's sort of important, as it's the other 240 red, and it would NOT be good to accidentally use super red on an aztec red car.

I'm cheap. I know that rustoleum sunrise red (I think it's called) is a pretty good match to super red, and regal red is supposed to be better for aztec red, though I suppose it can't be as good since aztec red is metallic. Maybe the hardware store guy could hook me up on a better mix.

Comparing the Skyline above and the Eclipse, the Mitsu color is darker and deeper. The Skyline has a bright pop to its color.

Pretty positive that Aztec red isn't metallic. I believe you are thinking of cherry red pearl (AH3)

I thought that was a Z color, and the only red 240 from that time was aztec red?

Mine is AH3, and says G after like a half inch of space to the right on the same line.

That's totally more baller than I thought I was. And more expensive to match, with it's billion stages. I guess when I took the wing off, the underside looked nearly like it. The rest of the paint is just so much duller, I forgot about that.

Trying to guess a red paint code by looking at a picture on a computer monitor is the pinnacle of absurdity.

I can make all those colors look better (or worse) just by adjusting saturation and hue on a photo editing program.

BTW, Aztec Red isn't metallic, and it doesn't "go purple" when it fades. Our '05 Fronty is Aztec Red.

OP, it's ferarri red, the only place you can get it is in italy, you have to take the whole car there, they won't let liquid paint out of the shop to prevent chemical analysis.

I think I am going to paint my car Mitsubishi R71 Passion Red seems like a good red to me. My search is over. Thanks to everyone.
