Here at DAS, we love restoring and bringing to market older 4x4 trucks with a modern twist all while keeping the original format of the truck. We feel by staying true to the original design but adding some modern lighting, comfort, suspension, we are creating the best of both worlds. When we got this 1996 Suburban 2500 DIESEL in and knew it was the perfect truck for us to add our DAS touch!!!! We just finished a Green/Tan 2500 Gas Suburban last month and it came out great and the new owner loves it. We feel with this being a turbo diesel it will make someone the perfect family / towing rig !!!!

This Suburban was the PERFECT truck to really bring back to life bc the previous owner has already performed so many upgrades, rebuilds, and services to this truck. We will outline below what DAS will perform and outline what the previous owner already did. We truly are aiming to create a very clean, classy, timeless, reliable and truly capable 2500 Diesel. This Suburban shows 280k miles but as you see its fully restored and 90% if not more has been completely replaced.

DAS PAINT AND BODY / EXTERIOR: Retail Value of $13,000

Part of our Restorations include a full and complete repaint. We took this Suburban down to metal and started from step one sealer/ 2K primer, base coat, and 2 coats of clear coat. We also removed all and any dents and dings. After the first coat of 2k Primer is applied, it got blocked down for a completely flat layer/surface for a perfect base coat finish. We will also remove the doors and refinished all the door jams fo a truly complete repaint. When we paint our vehicles, all handles, locks, trim, panels are removed so there are no tape lines. This is a very time consuming method but the end result speaks for itself. We also painted all the door handles, mirror housings, belt moldings, and more. In addition to the ENTIRE exterior being painted, we spent 5 day wet sanding and buffing the new paint for a perfectly flat top clear coat layer and mirror finish.
