FIESTA DEL JESUIT AUCTION GALA

SOL

RADIATE LOVE

Presented by

TOUCHMARK IN THE WEST HILLS

WELCOME TO THE AUCTION! Greetings and welcome to “Fiesta del Sol,” Jesuit High School’s 50th Auction Gala! Thank you for joining us this evening to support Jesuit High School’s mission. As your Auction Chairs, we are immensely grateful and pleased to have the opportunity to give back. Our children are Jesuit High graduates, seniors, freshmen and prospective students. The breadth and depth of our experience with the school are a true testament to the power of a Jesuit education. Being involved in creating this special night has been a wonderful experience. Driving the event’s success are our dedicated volunteers. They are an amazing group, full of talent and passion for the school. Our thanks goes to them and to Ann Smith-Palenchar, Jesuit’s wonderful Auction Director! Underlying all of this is the need to financially support our school. From academics to sports to theater to community service and beyond, Jesuit’s dedicated faculty and staff do a wonderful job of preparing our children to be “men and women for others.” That happens through skill, passion, planning, and access to resources. Please join us in assuring that Jesuit continues on this path of excellence and remains accessible to all qualified applicants. We look forward to seeing paddles raised high in support of Jesuit High School! Cheers, Pat and Randi Reiten Matt and Molly Bordonaro 3

SPECIAL APPEAL JHS Foundation Endowment Fund For more than 50 years, the Jesuit High School Foundation Endowment Fund has built a legacy of Ignatian education for current and future students by providing income to support the excellence of all our educational offerings. A Jesuit education is defined by the concept of cura personalis, care of the whole person. The video you’ll see tonight features the Campus Ministry program. We believe that our students’ spiritual life is just as important as their academic and athletic pursuits, and are committed to a holistic education that challenges students to grow in their sense of personal and communal spirituality. Please join us in our mission to educate young women and men in the Jesuit tradition defined by faith, community, and a commitment to serve the “Greater Glory of God.” All funds raised in tonight’s special appeal will be directed toward the Foundation Endowment Fund.
