A public viewing of Jesus’ damaged body from the beating just before crucifixion?

This moment in time scene was frozen (in the past, for the future) to an exhibition presentation so that we all can walk into the torture chamber room and get a close-up glimpse of what Jesus Christ looked like during His intense beating. However, you must be warned, discretion is advised. Because of the intense beating (ripping and tearing of flesh over His entire body), Jesus is completely naked.

A sign at the entrance of the exhibition reminded viewers of what Jesus said at John 10:17-18: Jesus could not die at the hands of man. It was only when He allowed (commend or gave up) His Spirit to leave His body was when His body died; otherwise, man could not kill Him by any injuries inflicted. (Luke 23:46) Therefore, He had to remain alive in this torture chamber and endured the slaughter that was in progress so that the amount of punishment and blood loss, along with the suffering of crucifixion was sufficient and accepted to pay off the world’s sin debt.

As a result, His body functions unbelievably could not stop or be disabled; all internal organs continue to work perfectly including all the pain that was felt. There was no numbness anywhere on Him and so He bore the full brunt of all the pain and suffering.

His body kept miraculously producing blood as fast as it was losing it. This was because His body needed this blood to keep itself alive.

(Leviticus 17:11, 14) When the blood was pouring out of His veins like water, it kept miraculously producing more and more; as quickly as it was pouring out. (Psalm 22:14, 17, Deut. 12:16, 24) How was this possible? Read the section called, “Walking in a three-inch deep pool of blood?” found below. Also, where scripture is very silent, based on all descriptive pieces of evidence, there must have been a second but, much more intensive stage of beating. This was after Jesus was turned over to the leaders, but before being crucified. Read the proof from the link below.

Since, His bones were visible, there were lots and lots of bleeding. His body was overworking its capacity but it had to stay in line with the rule of Ezekiel 18:4 and Romans 6:23. It could not die because it was free from sin.

Now as we enter the exhibition to view the body, the first thing that greets us is the strong odor of raw flesh and blood.

Walking around this painfully heartbreaking exhibit of Jesus, we recognized that it would have been impossible for a

mere man to endure such suffering and agony; to be living to endure this, he would have had to be more than mortal man; he would have had to be God! Only God could have endured this catastrophically intense horror and terror scene; only He (His love) could have bore this unbearable assignment. Now, we fully comprehend why Jesus was in such great agony and requested from His Father whether this unbearable assignment could be altered. “…his visage (face) was so marred (damaged) more than any man, and his form (body shape) more than the sons of men…the kings (leaders, scholars, preachers, teachers, etc.) shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.” (Isaiah 52:1415; dictionary emphasis added)

To illustrate and to somewhat properly describe what we are all looking at (Jesus’ bleeding and bloody scene) is to visualize thick chunky human blood that is poured over this body and covering it. For a full imagery to completely comprehend the scene

is to be present; words cannot truly describe this horrific exhibit. Blood continued to pour to the ground spreading around creating a small three inches deep pool covering the feet of all those who stood nearby according to a posted note: ‘…For this exhibit, the blood is contained and only surrounds Jesus’ body.’

When the barbwire whip tore and ripped through His body, bits and pieces of flesh, muscle and fatty tissue mingle together and hang out of the wound. For a few seconds (as stated on the sign nearby), there were yellow, orange and white colors along with visible bones seen in the wound (Psalm 22:17); then a few seconds later everything is covered with blood from the bleeding. The metal spikes many times scrapped on the bones as it strikes the same spot again and again; this was unbearably and brutally painful to Jesus.

As we look closely, His hands were tied approximately forty-eight inches apart above His head, high enough for Him to stand flat on both feet. His feet were tied about eighteen inches apart to avoid bringing them together; they were moveable but only in an outer direction. His head was tilted forward as though He was staring at the ground below Him. However, in this

exhibition, Jesus’ entire body hangs from the two ropes tied around both wrists that support His weight. It is obvious from the painful scene, he had no energy to stand on either foot therefore, His knees and entire midsection were slightly bent forward. His entire head and body are covered with thick chunky blood (blood mingled with small bits of flesh, muscle and fatty tissues) that was continuously pouring from all areas of his frame. The blood just continued to pour out of deep wounds created from the beating. His face was unrecognizable because of the blood that was pouring down and dripping from His chin in a slimy-looking way; it was mixed with lots of saliva from crying.

No skin surface area was spared, all was covered with blood. (Elihu, prophesied this in Job 33:21: “His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.”

[Read Job 33:18-22 and Romans 4:7.] We now fully comprehend His righteous blood covered or clothed our body of sins.)

It was obvious that He took a serious facial beating. Both ears seem to be missing because there was no form or shape of ears visible on the bloody surface on both sides of His head. The eyes were shut

tight to prevent blood from getting into them. The bloody ripping and tearing seen across the eyelids are so bad, it appears as though the eyeballs behind the skin may both be seriously damaged. His nose area appears to be split in half as seen from the bloody form and shape on the surface; half of it was missing, yet the nose bone shape seems to be intact. Part of the skin on the left side of His face looked as though it was flayed (Lev. 1:6, 2 Chron. 29:34); it hangs open, down His face; His skull bone shape was visible behind the blood.

The mouth was very notably wider than normal; it stretched all the way to the back of His jaws on the right side of the face. His front and right-side teeth were all visible because the lip area was ripped up. The exhibition notes on the wall stated how this mouth ripped scene happened: Jesus made loud outbursts from each time pain from the whip was felt. Lucifer (using his victim’s voice because he had possessed one of the executioner’s body) shouted out loud and said, “Shut…Up!” When he said “SHUT,” he drew back the whip behind him and with all his might swung it forward for a facial strike. The whip struck Jesus’ head wrapping itself around the back of the

INFLUENCERS DOCUMENT THEIR SPIRITUAL JOURNEYS

Social media influencers and celebrities more known for their outrageous antics and love lives than their piety, are increasingly coming out with claims that they are making big changes in their lives and going on spiritual journeys.

One such celeb is Blac Chyna, a former model and American socialite who in recent years has many been in the headlines for the ongoing drama between her and her kids’ fathers, rapper Tyga and Rob Kardashian.

But it seems like she is now putting all that negativity behind and going on a “life-changing” journey.

She wants to be addressed by her birth name, Angela White, and is also in the process of reversing her plastic surgeries. Most importantly, she said she is also deepening her relationship with God.

After sharing the news of her baptism – which occurred on her birthday last May – the reality show star said she wants to thank God for saving her life.

Last week, she posted a video of the start of the process of removing her Baphomet tattoo (a symbol of balance in various occult and mystical traditions, and a deity allegedly worshipped by the Knights Templar).

“I’m sending all this energy back to the owner. It’s got to come off. I am not about to have no mark of the beast or anything like that. I will tell you this, when I first got it, the tattoo,

that is not what it meant to me. Regardless of what it is, I just don’t want anything negative or demonic on my body anymore,” she said in the video.

In an interview ‘Fox and Friends’, Angela said this change in her life is vital, not just on a spiritual level, but because she really wants to set an example for her daughter Dream.

“I want to make sure that anything that I do, I want to be a positive reflection on her life and the generations to come. For me, I was like this is too much, it is time for a change, it is not who I am and something just came over me. The Holy Spirit came over me and I was like, you know what, I need to figure out what’s my purpose in life, why am I here. The way that I was living, I was like, I don’t like the way that I was living. So I had to make a change so that I can start walking into my own truth…When I got baptised, God told me, ‘You do not need to be doing this. This is not why I put you here, to degrade yourself, because our body is the temple’,” said Angela.

As far as reversing her plastic surgery procedures, Angela said she has illegal

silicone injections, which ended up making her ill.

“I want to just get this out of my body because in the long term it is going to make me sick. I came out publicly to let other women know that you can die from this. It is not worth it,” she said.

Celebrities like actresses Keke Palmer and Skai Jackson were among the many to offer congratulations to Angela on her decision.

“God bless you, sister. God is always ready. Isn’t his grace overwhelming? All we have to do is walk through the door,” Keke said. While Skai shared: “This is amazing. Congratulations on your journey. God bless you.”

Like Angela, popular influencers like ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star Alexis Skyy, comedian B Simone, and

celebrity makeup artist Olivia Song have lately professed their love for God and a need for change in their lives.

Singer and actress B Simone said a strong relationship with God has allowed her to have internal peace. She credits her best friend and business partner Megan Brooks (who cohost the podcast ‘The Know For Sure Pod’ together) for inspiring her seek God in a new way.

“I’m so happy and grateful. I don’t think y’all understand. Megan Ashley really saved my life. She often says I saved hers, but she really pulled me closer to God when walking the opposite way, into darkness, was very possible for me. Looking at her relationship with God impacted me in

such a way and really caused me to seek Jesus on another level for myself. I’ve given my life to Christ again because of her leadership and that’s the single most important thing in my life I could ever do,” she said.

Reality TV star Alexis Skyy, who has appeared in three shows from the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise, shared on her social media that her spiritual journey began last December. At that point, she said, she was just unhappy; living a fast life: fast-paced, trying to get money fast – to the point where she just crashed.

“It doesn’t even matter what you have, sometimes you can just be empty on the inside. And that is where I was. I had the diamonds, the bags, the cars, and I was still just an empty soul. Sitting there confused as to what I want to do with myself. Things were just shutting down. Opportunities were shutting down for me and nothing was aligning for me. Any time I tried to do something, I would just like, fail. Even down to my businesses. I was just like why is this happening to me. So I think God just wanted my attention, and my calling isn’t to be this sex symbol that is Alexis Skyy. I think because of what happened to me in my past, I think God wants to use me as a light to other women that are going through traumatic situations,” she said.

Alexis has experienced many trials and tribulations in her life, including abusive relationships, so she believes God gave her a specific platform to be a voice

and to help others; to bring people closer to Him.

“It doesn’t mean you have to just become holy over night, but it is a transition and you have to start somewhere. If I am going to do it the right way, then I can’t be half way in. I tried this last year; I was trying to do my journey and I got scared,” said Alexis.

Meanwhile celebrity makeup artist Olivia Song declared she has powerful message about the dangers of idolising the seemingly rich, successful and famous amongst us.

“Once I uncovered my own truth, of course I was eager to share. As a woman, a mother and a child of God, I have deep concern for the state of humanity and the world that our children will inherit. As you know, I’ve been working in the entertainment industry for three plus years now. Now I’ve come to understand that some, not all, of the people I looked up t, did not reach their success on the merit of their own hard work and talent, but sold themselves and everyone they love away in the name of greed,” she said.

“I recommend everyone stop idolising people for what they’ve achieved and instead consider if they are making a positive and forward impact on our youth, culture, and ourselves. A lot of everyday people have more talent backbone and love in their lives than the rich and wealthy.”

Bahamas Gospel Music Awards to announce nominees next week

IN just a matter of days, the nominees for the third annual Bahamas Gospel Music Awards will be revealed.

After what has been an intense selection process, the decision has been made in regards to which artists will be given an opportunity to snag an award this year.

The nominees will be revealed during a virtual event scheduled for April 3

at 7pm on the BGMA Facebook page.

Gandhi Pinder and DJ Godson return as hosts for this year’s nominee unveiling. The virtual event is also expected to feature performances by Stermon, Shannette Hepburn, Big Bruh, Sonovia Pierre, Sweet Emily and IAmStacs.

“The BGMA ream and I are ecstatic to announce the nominations for this year. Narrowing down the submissions to six nominees for each category was a tough task for the judges,

but they were able to complete it by the deadline. We are looking forward to the awards show in June” said Travis Edgecombe, CEO of the Bahamas Gospel Music Awards.

A new category has been added – Duo, Group or Ensemble of the Year – bringing the number of categories to 20. Honorary award recipients, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Pioneer Award, will also be announced during the event next week.

Any single, album or music video released between January 2022 to December 2022 were eligible for nomination.

The Bahamas Gospel Music Awards will be held Sunday, June 11th 2023 at Bahamas Faith Ministries (Myles Munroe Diplomat Centre) at 6pm.

This year’s theme, “One God, One Bahamas”, will honour the past while celebrating the future.

“In celebration of our 50th independence, we will highlight the past, present

and the future of gospel music in the Bahamas and a few reunion performances that will be a major surprise,” Mr Edgecombe told Tribune Religion.

When he set out the host the awards show two years ago, Mr Edgecombe said he was “terrified” as he did not how things would turn out. Fortunately, the inaugural awards were a success and have only grown from there.

“Two years later all I can say is, God is faithful,” said Mr Edgecombe.

“The fact we are able to bring the entire gospel community together in one night to celebrate each other is amazing. The body of Christ celebrating, praising and worshipping God is a blessing in itself.”
