Maybe I should paint mine Smurf Blue. I looks pretty cool. I'm still thinking SOM would look good on me. I need something bright since I just traded of my Corvette Yellow '74 K5 Blazer for a blue and white '83 C10.

That color is beautiful. Didn't know that color was offered from the factory. Must have been like them offering Suburst Yellow or Hugger Orange on the full size trucks and the dealer having to special order the cars.

That's because those are 2002 numbers, and Medium Blue Metallic (aka Medium Quasar Blue) wasn't offered in 2002...
Links to all Firebird production numbers I've found: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....96&postcount=2
Either that Autotrader car has been repainted, or it's actually Navy Blue Metallic (aka 'dark blue') in odd light, or it's not a 2002.
1993: Medium Quasar Blue available (from the beginning of 4th-gen F-bodies)
1997: Medium Quasar Blue dropped at midyear.
1998: Navy Blue Metallic added.
2002: End of F-bodies, Navy Blue Metallic available until end.

I looked for two years for a 1999 TA that color, I have a lot of "ad photos" of medium blue 99's from traderonline.com and eBay to prove it. I couldn't find one that had the MN6. I didn't want to buy a car just to go through the hassle of converting it to an MN6. Shoulda, woulda, coulda: I should have ordered one in 1999 the way I wanted it. How was I to know that GM would only give us that color for 1 model year.
I also know that not one 1999 WS6 TA was delivered in that color, and I asked. I was going to add the hood to it if I had ordered it. But I bought a black 1998 TA instead, and but the hood on it... someday the car may be find itself Medium Quaser Blue (I think it's the same color as the Nassua Blue on the same year vettes).
Or, I could buy a 1999 that color, and then swap out my MN6 and WS6 hood, just sell the 1998 TA as an automatic.
