How do I sign up for Masterpass?
Go to the Masterpass home page https://masterpass.com/en-sg.html and click or tap Sign up. It's as simple as that. You can even sign up while shopping online by selecting the Masterpass button at checkout, where it is accepted.
What cards can I use with Masterpass?
You can add credit, debit, or prepaid cards from Mastercard, American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, JCB and Visa. Note—depending on your wallet, not all card types will be accepted.
How do I use Masterpass to buy something online?
Once you've filled your online shopping cart and are ready to checkout, click or tap the Masterpass button. If you have already used your wallet on this browser, then simply Sign In and choose the payment card and shipping addresses you wish to use from those that you have previously saved. You can even add a new card or shipping address during checkout.
Do I have to pay to use Masterpass?
There are no fees or charges to use Masterpass. You may incur standard messaging fees from your mobile phone carrier if you opt to receive text message alerts
What is express checkout, and how can I enable it with a merchant?
Enabling express checkout with a merchant is the fastest and easiest way to buy with your Masterpass on that merchant’s site. When logged in to your account on that merchant’s site, just click the Masterpass checkout button to instantly complete your purchase! You won’t need to sign into your wallet or enter a password when checking out on that merchant’s site.
Express checkout is available at select merchants, and will be offered after you complete your purchase with that merchant. Some may also offer the option to enable express checkout outside of checkout.
How to disable express checkout for a merchant?
If you want to disconnect your Masterpass from a merchant, simply sign in to your Masterpass and click Connections. Scroll down the list until you find the merchant you want to disconnect from, and click the Disconnect button. If you want to re-connect at any time, visit the merchant’s site or app and you can connect your Masterpass again.
