Built at the San Jose plant in California this Bright Red ‘67 289 Coupe was sold in Los Angeles and spent most of its life in Yuma a town in deepest southern Arizona, right on the Mexican border.

Dry hot and great for preserving those classic panels!

We found the car in Flagstaff where the last owner had fitted a rebuilt 351Cleveland with matching C4 Auto Transmission which along with Power Steering and Factory Air Conditioning, Disc Brake conversion and Dual Exhausts, make this a joy to drive.

The journey down from 7,500 feet under the Montgomery Peaks in Flagstaff to Phoenix was really memorable and such an exciting experience, every modern Mustang driver waving and giving the thumbs up as we passed them on the mountainous twisting road south into the heat of the cactus-studded “Valley of the Sun” surrounding Phoenix.

This beautiful Mustang has a very high spec and whilst the purists may argue, lost some of its originality this is more than made up for with the increase in performance and enjoyment that this provides. Magnum Chrome Wheels and Billboard White Lettered BF Goodrich complete the look of this Classic Pony.
