Yahoo Autos Manual Porsche Cayenne GTS for Sale
People seem to love rare, unique Porsches. But there's one ultra-rare Porsche many enthusiasts forget about: The manual-equipped first-gen Cayenne GTS. Yes, you could order the original Cayenne GTS with three pedals. Very few made it to the US, and now they're nearly impossible to find. This one's up for sale, and you should buy it.

Optioning the GTS trim on a new Cayenne in the late 2000s got you a 405-horsepower V8, bigger brakes, a bigger air intake, 21-inch wheels, a lowered adjustable suspension, a shorter final-drive ratio, blacked out trim, Alcantara seats, and sportier looks shared with the Cayenne Turbo. Like all Cayennes, power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed Tiptronic automatic or the aforementioned six-speed manual.
This particular black-on-black example has just over 100,000 miles on the odometer, and looks to be in good condition aside from normal interior wear. This GTS also seems to have the towing package already installed, meaning you don't have to worry about having it put in. Even with the manual gearbox, the Cayenne GTS is capable of towing an impressive 7716 pounds-perfect for taking your race car to the track.
It's unknown how many manual-transmission Cayenne GTSes are in the US, but it has to be a tiny number. Considering its rarity, we're surprised there isn't more hype around this car-it is a super-unique Porsche, after all.
Midwest Auto Exchange is asking $26,990 for the GTS via Cars.com. That may sound like a lot for a 2009 Cayenne-and it would be, were it not for the stick. But for a Porsche this rare, we think that price is pretty reasonable.
