Cadillac is associated with luxury and 1959-1960 had the largest fins and most chrome and is considered the most coveted year models.
The car is sold to private collectors who reduce their vehicle holdings.
This copy has a model designation series 62 and is of model year 1960. Imported to Sweden and regulated here in 2002.
As it should be on a Cadillac, it has a lot of equipment as standard. The car has previously been repainted in a nice silver-gray metallic, which is not the original color. Matches nicely with white decor and black fabric cab. Newer radial tires with white side.
The car pulls away well with the strong V8 and shifts smoothly and you are surprised at how nice you drive in a car over 60 years old.
The paint looks good but has blemishes when you see it, some chafing and stone chips that are improved in color, a few blisters on the lower edge of the sill (see photos)
The chrome is in good working order, some moldings have defects.
The cab has been changed recently and is in good condition. Interior in white vinyl is in good condition, there is some wear on the driver's seat. Wear on the steering wheel. The clock does not work and the gear arrow indicator arrow has come loose.
In summary, a Cadillac cab in working condition that goes well and is ready to meet the summer with. PS auction has not performed a complete technical test and it is recommended that you look and test before bidding or in connection with delivery.
