OTHER: The White Snowberry Shrub is native to The US & Canada. The Snowberry is grown for it’s ornamental beauty & its value to wildlife. The plants are extremely cold hardy, & are found in moist shady woodlands floodplains, & along riverbanks. They are able to grow in coastal conditions, sun to shade, dry or moist soil, and clay or sand, making them wonderful for erosion control. Colonies of shrubs form thickets of blue-green foliage that provides wildlife habitat. The pink bell shaped flowers bloom in clusters, & attracts bees, butterflies, & HUMMINGBIRDS. The white fall berries also form in clusters, and are absolutely lovely.

From Wikipedia: Symphoricarpos Alba is an important food source for a number of animals, including bighorn sheep, white-tailed deer, and grizzly bears. Livestock such as cattle and sheep readily browse it. Many birds and small mammals use it for food and cover. Pocket gophers dig burrows underneath it during the winter.
