Chinese White Cloud
Our China White Cloud Poppies are Papaver Somniferum with extravagant double and even triple layers of lucious White to Cream petals.
They look brilliant growing with Black Betty and Baby’s Breath. I highly recommend this combination for your garden.
One of the trickier breeds to isolate to retain pure seed. If you’re planning to harvest seed, I recommend spacing out planting times or covering the pods with a small mesh sack immediately after bloom.
Though all breeds can be protected from cross pollination in this manner. This breed is particularly prone to picking up colors from other poppies around them. The result is a beautiful antique blend of colors. But if you’re looking to keep them pure white. Make sure to protect the fresh pod.
