Yes, you can use a Discount Tire Direct Credit Card at any of the 250,000 gas stations and repair shops that are part of the Synchrony Car Care Network. Affiliated brands include Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Chevron, BP and others. Cardholders can also make purchases at more than 25,000 service and parts retailers.
The Discount Tire Direct Credit Card does come with some limitations. You can only use the card for gas, repairs and in-store purchases at its affiliated retailers nationwide. There are no rewards, but the card does offer an intro APR of 0% for 6 - 12 months from the date of purchase on all purchases of more than $199, excluding gas. The caveat is this is deferred interest, not a true 0% APR. So, if you don’t pay off the entire balance by the end of the financing period, you will owe interest from the date of the purchase at a 29.99% APR.
