Rushed into the loan a bit... Called to learn about it, and they were sending someone to my house before I had time to mentally process.
Took out the loan and was not told nor helped to lock in the rate, and before I knew it, the rate had already gone up.
Blessed to have what is now considered a very low rate, however.
First off, Heritage Credit Union was wonderful. Since Connexus bought them out, it has been nothing but trouble. I've had two auto loans with no missed payments, with one paid off. I also have a line of credit. I make my payment on the line of credit and, magically, they never receive the payment. Plus, this company has the worst ATMs, and I usually have to pay a fee at other ATMs to get cash out. I would avoid Connexus at all costs!

This company is very incompetent and doesn't care for its members one bit! I sent a payoff that sat in their P.O. Box, which they apparently only check once a month. I am now being harassed because the payoff didn't match the excess in interest. The representative I spoke with was extremely passive-aggressive and condescending. I will never again do business with this company and warn anyone else who does.

OMG! I filed a debit card fraud claim for $1,180. They declined it, saying I didn't have a paper copy of the transaction. During the initial call to them, they said it was obviously fraud, as two charges came in within minutes of each other at the restaurant, one for $500 and one for $600. In actuality, my husband had purchased a total of six cocktails and signed one bill. There is no way six cocktails could possibly tally up to either amount. When trying to actually communicate with the fraud department, let me tell you what happens: two conveniently dropped calls and a third with very rude customer service representatives later, I am told to call the number on the back of my debit card. Listen and do not fool yourself; this is a crooked outfit and one to be avoided. They do not have your best interests in mind; they will not represent you but only imply that you are complicit rather than do their job to research and get your money back. They are bad business, period. Put your money somewhere else!
These people are so incompetent. When you mail in your payment it sits in their PO Box for lord knows how long before they decided to retrieve their mail. Then it sits in a bin or on a desk for lord knows how long before someone decides to do their job and start processing payments. I pay ALL my bills very early and have not paid ANYTHING late in literally decades. Yet these lowlifes frequently send me late notices. What a bunch of incompetent dirtbags. It's NOT the mail. I pay most of my bills by mail.
I applied for a line of credit today. My credit score is a 783. I have a 100% on time payment rate on my credit cards and car. I am currently utilizing 32% of my credit cards. They denied me and told me the reason was because my cards are maxed out. Furthermore, I was referred by my husband who has had a wonderful relationship with them for 8 years.

Based on bankrate.com's best CD rates, I submitted an online application to create a savings account and a CD (12 month) with 5.61% APY. After doing everything required and using Plaid to link my bank with Connexus (to verify the $0.01 deposit), I got a "decline" status on the same day. I then called them but they reply was " will receive reason within 7 to 10 business days, and re-apply after 90 days". Even though my banking needs are different from the others who gave 1-star reviews, the take-away is the same, which is, Connexus do not have consistent and transparent procedures and they do not value client's priorities. I am glad for those who have good experience with them but for those thinking to starting banking with Connexus, it is more wise to consider elsewhere.

Connexus Just Stopped Taking Deposits in their High Yield Savings Accounts. I logged on this morning and the only option available was "Withdraw". The Deposit Option has been removed. I guess this a result of popularity and they decided to put a cork in it. Well, I will be CLOSING my account now. Their APR of of 5.26% is only 0.01% better than a handful of other Banks and Credits Unions offering 5.25% with NO Limitations on Deposits. Once bitten, twice shy, I will NOT be using Connexus ever again.
At first everything was fine with Connexus CU. The process of opening an account was easy. However, they ended up sending me two debit cards without my knowledge. My first one just stopped working due to them sending me the second one. When I called to get it fixed, they told me they would have to mail a new one and that it would take 3 to 5 business days from 6/27/2023. In the meantime, my card was supposed to work - which it did not. After a week, I reached out to check in. They said it was mailed out on 6/28 and they weren't sure. After almost a month of back and forth with them telling me to just order a new card, I get charged TWICE for a return mail fee.. Even though the address was correct. They blamed USPS, but all of my other mail arrives with no issues. I decided to transfer all my money into a new bank. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible communication and they frankly don't care. Save your time and money!
I payed off 2 loans for my travel trailers with these guys loved the company . I just received my statement I over payed so they deposited in a member savings plan instead of sending me a check and have deducted 5.00 a month since april i asked if they would refund the full amount because in this economy every dollar matters . The representative talked to her boss and they declined to send me my full refund so now you have lost a customer over $15.00 . great company to work with , but ethics is lacking.
Nice rate and and I always pay 6 mo ths in advance so I have learned validity banking and will have this 84 mo th loan paid off in 6 months

They are very understanding and always willing to help out when you’re in need of a little more time to make payments. Great company to do business with.
So I financed a camper through this group. The plumbing water sewer black and gray tank fell to the ground 30 days after purchase. It was being “ fixed “ for almost 5 months the dealer assured me I would be provided an extension for this time. Joe in collections would not budge he sent me info for Jason. I called Jason over a hundred times over the year of 2022 he never responded or answered my calls. Then 13 months later he sends me a real smart but message saying you got repossessed today and I want to be perfectly clear with you. We will not remove one penny from what you owe or make one adjustment! This guy went out of his way to contact me today with joe laughing to tell me that I had been repoed and to not expect them to come off a single penny and that i was actually still going to be charged 150$/ day per diem. Do not use Connexus absolutely horrible told me their bank policy is only one deferment for the life of the loan. No Covid relief and no relief for being sold a faulty unit

Your Money is not safe here. I’m my situation, I was on an account one with my husband and one with my son. My son got involved in some scam which overdrawn the account by over 8k. Why would an credit union allow him to cash 2 checks, on two occasions, with an account that had less than $20 in it? This credit union went into my husband’s and I account and took all that we had in savings. Which caused our account to be overdrawn. The credit union says because I was on my son’s account, they can legally take money out of my account that I have with my husband. We have been loyal customers of Heritage and now we’re being treated like they don’t are about our livelihood. When asked how he was able to cash the checks, because normally there’s a 10 business day hold when there’s not fund to cover the check, I was conveniently told that payroll checks under 5K cannot be held. So they blindly cash checks as long as the person tells them that it’s a payroll check. So, if all a person need to say is “it’s a payroll check” to get a check cashed. I’m furious, that the credit union cleared out our account and didn’t care about our livelihood
