“Gunmetal Gray” 1988 Cadillac Coupe De Ville for sale by life-long Cadillac and Oldsmobile owner in Northern, VA with clear, clean VA title in hand. Vehicle is currently VA state inspected through the end of DEC 2024. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have had several repairs and upgrades made, and I am now selling it to create space for other classic vehicles. Of particular note, the original 14” steel wheels and hub caps were replaced with remanufactured 15” Cadillac alloy wheels and center caps, and look AMAZING.

The sound system has been updated with a top-tier Kenwood system with Bluetooth, CD and XM. A top-of-the-line Viper alarm and remote start system is installed as well. The windows were professionally tinted at 50% front / 35% side and rear by TNT tint in Sterling, VA. Since being purchased by me, it has had regular preventative (and corrective, as needed) maintenance and is in good mechanical condition. The Pima cloth (two-tone gray velour) interior is in very good shape, especially for its age, with little wear in the interior aside from the vinyl covering on parts of the armrests. The headliner is also in very good condition.

The vehicle has a tilt and telescopic wheel, cruise control, power windows and locks (which had the window motors and lock solenoids replaced after purchase), power trunk release, and functional AC, which has been converted to R-134. The car has no known major mechanical problems, and I often use it as my daily driver. The 4.5 V8 TBI engine is quiet and smooth, without noticeable drips. Some of the more notable recent repairs include replacement of the oil pan gasket, the serpentine belt and belt tensioner, and BOTH halves of the water pump.

The exterior is in very good shape, in terms of not being rusted, nor dented, with only minor “parking lot” type dings. The vehicle has been undercoated, and the body and undercarriage are in good condition. The glass is in excellent condition all the way around, with no cracks or damage to the windshield. The paint has held up well on the sides, but, there is some noticeable “patina” on the horizontal surfaces.

For those interested in a “package” deal, I also have a 1985 (FWD) black cherry Fleetwood with the matching leather interior, that I will sell along with this vehicle for $10,500 combined. I will consider reasonable offers, but low-ball offers will be ignored. This is a classic design that is getting harder and harder to find, and this is the last year of the first generation FWD design, and has the improved 4.5 liter TBI engine. Prefer contact by text or e/mail. So I know that you read this, include “Gunmetal” at the start of your text. Thanks!

P.S. Cash, wire transfers, or certified funds only. No Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, etc. accepted.
