1976 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera

I feel like you’re lollygagging here. You have less than a day to get your bid in for this 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera, and the price is sub-$60K at the moment. So what are you waiting for?

This baby’s currently up for sale on everybody’s favorite auto auction site, Bring A Trailer. And judging from the pictures below, and the many more available on the site, you’re looking at fairly decent early 930 example.

With just under 70,000 miles on the odometer, the car’s obviously been driven. But it’s “been cosmetically refurbished by the seller over the last year,” including a bare metal Black (A1) repaint, which certainly shows. And there’s a fresh paint job on the steam-cleaned original turbocharged 3.0L flat-six too.

Other high points include the original 4-speed manual gearbox with the optional LSD, new leather on the front seats, and the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity that verifies the original black/black color and options.

As for admitted low points, after the original owner fitted the car with “964-style body components,” the current owner and seller found some authentic 930 parts to help bring the car back to stock, but it’s not quite there. And there are some paint and leather issues as well.

Still, it might be worth a look, don’t you think? If so, you better get on it, cause the clock’s a ticking!
